Day Two: The marvellous Murchison Falls on the Nile
Early morning, leave Kampala driving Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle. If you start early morning, it is possible to visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to see rhinos in the wild. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest protected area in Uganda, with 3.840 Kms, named after the falls on the Victoria Nile, which divides the park into two sectors. Relax a bit at a situated site on the top of the spectacular falls, where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometre wide down through a seven meter canyon. The 43 meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best of the Nile River Dinner and over night at Pakuba safari lodge.
Day Three: The boat cruise on the river Nile
Your day starts with an early morning game drive, transverse the Northern part of the park for a game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, if you are lucky the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. After lunch, proceed for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. This is an opportunity to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pakuba safari lodge.
Day Four: Fort Portal on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon
Early morning transfer from Murchison Falls driving Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colourful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. Dinner and overnight, at Mountains of the moon or Ataco country resort.
Day Five: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park after an early break, for primate viewing. The activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora. After lunch a visit to Bigodi swamp eco -tourism site is amazing, as we shall encounter rare and beautiful flora and fauna. On the way back do not miss the beauty of the Kasenda Crater Lakes, which dominates all the surrounding areas with the possibility of amazing panoramic views. Day Six: Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Pearl of Uganda
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast. Have a game drive en –route to the lodge. After lunch, enjoy the two hours launch trip on Kazinga Channel for amazing bird life and a variety of wild life. An evening drive to the crater lakes region is rewarding. Dinner & overnight at Mweya lodge or Ihamba or Mweya hostel.
Day Seven: The tree climbing lions in Ishasha
Early breakfast and drive to the Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive in search of the tree climbing lions. Today you will have packed lunch. After the game drive proceed to Bwindi for dinner and overnight at Silverback, or Buhoma community.
Day Eight: The magic encounter with the mountains gorillas
Early morning transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you enter into the gorilla sanctuary of Bwindi Forest . The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. This park is best known for the fascinating mountains gorillas, where the time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other. Dinner and overnight Silverback lodge or Buhoma Community.
Day Nine: Lake Mburo National Park
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest in Uganda in size. Take a game drive in search for the beautiful impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi and topi. Along with the game drive, many visitors also enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo. The park is a very good opportunity for bird watchers, who will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found here, including Papyrus gonoleks, Brown-faced lapwings, Carruther’s cisticolas. Stop over at the Equator on the way back to Kampala for dinner and overnight at Imperial royale (C) Metropole (MR) or The Lodge (B). BB

A visa is needed for Uganda. Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months is needed. The price is $50 (valid for one month and a unique entrance). The visa is issued at the airport on arrival.
We use 4×4 land cruisers or minibus vehicles. The vehicles have a pop–up roof and each client will have window access..
The meals will be provided with mineral water for the clients. Other drinks taken are at the expense of the client.
