5 DAYS KENYA WILDLIFE SAFARI
Day 1
Departing Nairobi in the morning you drive western to Lake Nakuru National park for one night of having fun as you search for the world-famous flamingo sight of the Lake. Afternoon game drive. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Lake Nakuru: The world famous Lake Nakuru was created in June 1968 to protect the stunning flocks of lesser flaming. It covers and area of 188 Sq. Kms and the flamingoes literally turns the shores into a superb pink colour. The bird-life of Lake Nakuru is amazing, giving it the title 'ornithological Paradise'. It is well-known in the ornithological ground for scientists and nature-film photography. A wide range of wood-vegetation, bush and grassland exists around the Lake with a numerous ecological diversity among them rocky escarpments and rocky ridges and White Colobus monkey. In the bush lands of the neighborhood within the park you can view elands, impalas, Chandler's reedbuck , steinbok, and dik dik, even as rock hyrax and klipspringer occupy the cliffs and escarpment. Accommodations include two lodges, K.W.S. Guest House, five campsites, self help banda and two picnic sites, Makalia Falls & Njoro River Mouth.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha-Hells Gate
After breakfast you ensue to Lake Naivasha and to hells gate. Here you will enjoy a wal to hells gate National park or to Mt Longonot, with meal break in the afternoon. Late afternoon at leisure by the lake campsite.
Day 3: Naivasha- Masai Mara Wildlife Safari
After breakfast proceed down the Rift valley headed to the Mara. Here you have excellent photographic opportunities to capture the stately black-manned Lions, Elephants and various plains game. Lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast at your camp.
Masai Mara - one of the most famous Parks in the world and the most visited park in Kenya. Standing at an altitude of 5,000 Ft , 275 Kms from Nairobi down the Great Rift Valley with brilliant outlooks in the distance is Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Reserve itself presents the famous 'Out of Africa' breathtaking views and covers an area of 1,510 Sq. Km.
Famous also for the Out of Africa film which was typically filmed here, this Reserve holds an
odd density of animals including "the Big Five" (lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros). You will be astounded by the populations and species of plains game.
Day 4: Masai Mara Wildlife Safari
Arise for a full day game watch in the world famous Masai Mara game reserve.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner in your camp.
Day 5: Masai Mara Safari -Nairobi
After breakfast you start your drive back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon or early
evening there after your transfer to the International Airport or your supplementary program.
