Day 1:

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Kampala for overnight at Metropole hotel. BB

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest National Park.

Have an early breakfast and drive to Fort Portal through Mubende-Mityana road. Lunch en-route. In the afternoon you will go for the chimpanzee and primate trekking in the forest. Here is found one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the moon. FB


Day 3: Batwa pygmies and Semliki National park

Drive to Bundibunjo. The road is winding with breathtaking views. You will stop at Ntandi to visit the Pygmies and learn about their culture and way of living. Proceed to Semliki National Park where you will visit the Sempaya hot springs. Return to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel. FB


Day 4: The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

After early breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, following the mystical Ruwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. A game drive en route. Arrive early for lunch on top of the Mweya peninsula. Enjoy the unique two hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at Ihamba safari lodge. FB


Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, plus a lot of small animals and birds. You will reach Lake George. Drive back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon drive to the splendid Crater Lakes region for sightseeing’s. Dinner and overnight at as above. FB


Day 6: Transfer to Rwanda Ruhengeri

Transfer to Rwanda, have lunch en-route and continue to Rwanda in Ruhengeri .Dinner and over night at La Palme or Kinigi Guest house.


Day 7: Mountain Gorilla tracking and Transfer to Gisenyi

Early morning you enter the gorilla sanctuary of Volcanoes National Park, the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding the five Virunga Volcanoes. It was here where biologist Dian Fossey worked until her death in 1985. The trekking is a strenuous but rewarding experience. Ensure you carry enough drinking water and packed lunch. The time spent in the forest depends on the movements of the primates in their natural environment. Dinner and overnight as above.


Day 8: Akagera National Park

After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park located along the Tanzanian border of Rwanda. You reach in time for the evening game drive. This park is famous for its herds of game animals including Burchell’s Zebra, lions, elephants, topi, giraffes, impalas and over 425 species of birds including the shoe billed stock, African jacana, sacred ibis goliath heron. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.


Day 9: Game drive in the Akagera National Park

Early morning game drive along the trials of Akagera. As an optional activity, you can board the boat for exploring the water of the Lake Ihema to see the large number of hippo, the huge Nile crocodile and birds. In the afternoon transfer to Kigali the capital city of Rwanda. You will Visit the Genocide Memorial Museum. The genocide in Rwanda left most Rwandese citizens traumatized .  If you have time, you will visit some other Genocide Memorial centres in Kigali  which may  include  Nyamata, Kigali Memorial Center. Dinner and overnight at The Manor or Iris guest house. BB

Day 10: Reserved for departure

This day is reserved for your departure.

In the program there is a day in Rwanda for those clients wishing to track gorillas and the cost of the permit is included in the tariff.


We can obtain these permits if you communicate to us in advance. In case of availability, these have to be paid immediately.


In case of modification; we will communicate it as soon as possible.

 Once requested and paid for, the gorilla permit is not refundable in case of cancellation.




A visa is needed for Uganda. Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months is needed. The price is $50 for Uganda (valid for one month and a single entrance)and $30 for Rwanda. The visa is issued at the airport on arrival.




We use 4×4 minibus vehicles, depending on the number of clients and the state of the tracks (dry season and rainy season). The maximum number is 6 pax per minibus and most will have window access. The minibus has a pop–up roof.




Drinks taken are at the expense of the client.
