ABOUT AFRICAN SECRETS

African Secrets Limited is based in Kampala (Uganda). It also has agents operating in Norway. The company specializes in tailor made safaris based on each client’s individual needs, time scale and budget. We operate in East Africa that’s to say Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda.

African Secrets Limited is a private limited liability Ugandan owned company. So the owner has first hand information about the country. It’s a member of nature Uganda and the Uganda Tourist Board and also works hand in hand with Uganda wildlife Authority in order to regulate updates and improvement of our safari products.

We offer safaris such as gorilla safaris in Bwindi impenetrable National Park and park des volcans in Rwanda. Other safari packages offered include wild life and scenery vacations, bird watching, cultural and ecotourism tours, crocodiles, hippos, chimp tracking, mountaineering in Rwenori mts, Elgon and Kirimanjaro, primate safaris, cycling trips, balloon safaris, white water rafting and many others.

OPERATIONS

We meet all our clients on arrival at the airport and brief them on their chosen safari and link up again on their return for their comments. We are a diversified, single source provider of tours, transport and tourism services. We under take study, adventure, business, religious and leisure tours. Our reason for success is a wealth team of experienced personnel both directors and guides.

ACCOMMODATION

We use elegant and unique lodges, hotels and camps. The camps, hotels and lodges used have excellent personnel services and friendliness of their staff.  Effort has also been made to provide the best cellar possible within the restrictions of logistics and climate. We ask all our clients to advise if they have any dietary requirements in advance.

VEHICLES

We use 4 wheel drive minibuses and comfortable Toyota land cruisers with popup roofs, well maintained and in good condition.

OUR GUIDES

The most important person to determine the success of a safari is the guide. Therefore we have qualified, experienced and knowledgeable guides who are able to handle all the requirements of our clients. They are familiar with the wildlife, fauna and flora, birds and help you to obtain first hand information about Uganda.

LANGUAGE

Uganda is a former British colonel, therefore English is widely spoken. It’s the business language as well and the team of African Secrets Limited plus the guides are fluent and able to discuss all the matters likely to be asked about the safari and other matters in general. Hotels, lodges and camp sites all have English spoken personnel.

TERMS OF EXCHANGE

The Us dollar, Euro, GB pounds and any hard currency may be exchanged in the many forex Bureaux in Kampala. The use of credit cards is limited in Kampala and its good to carry local currency (Ugandan shs) if your traveling. African Secrets Limited accepts payment for additional activity in any hard currency, but the initial safari deposit and balance may be paid by bank transfer to our Ugandan account.
