4 DAYS PRIVATE FLYING SAFARI TO KIBALE AND BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Day one  

A representative from Abbiron Tours will transfer you to Kajjansi Airstrip to meet your private charter flight to Fort Portal Airstrip. You will be dearly welcomed by your safari guide and after drives you to Kibale Forest National Park. Proceed with an afternoon Chimpanzee trekking. These charming apes, which are closely related to humans than to any other living creature are terrific fun to watch as they argue and play in fruiting trees. The amazingly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including blue monkey, grey mangabey,   red Colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest, black faced vervet monkeys, Olive baboons and also bushbabies. A complex of sheltered forest trails provides much to delight botanists and butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a extravagance with 335 species recorded including the endemic Prirogrine’s ground thrush. The forest elephant, smaller and hairier that its savannah foil, moves seasonally into the developed part of the park, while other terrestrial mammals include a half dozen antelope species, buffalo, giant forest hog and others. Day two

 Following morning breakfast, we will depart by road for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We will drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth called Ishasha. Here we will take lunch by the Ishasha River and try to find the eminent Ishasha tree-climbing lions before continuing on to Bwindi home mountain gorillas. Bird life and primate life in Bwindi is tremendous, and there is an absurd variety of flora. 360 species of birds and about 200 species of butterflies also occur. This Afro -montane forest has dense under storey of vines, fern and shrubs. Approximately 324 tree species have been recorded here of which 10 don't occur else in Uganda. Tonight you will sleep to the sounds of the mountain rainforest!  After checking in, you can relax on the pool side or have a guided forest walk. Bwindi has 4 weird hiking trails. On all these trails, you have opportunities to see and learn about primates, also species of butterflies, birds, trees, and other organisms. Arrange at the reception for a park guide. Day three

Following early morning breakfast, we shall then head for gorilla tracking. walking up steep thickly forested hills. In this thick and humid forest you almost have to cut your way through the undergrowth but finally coming across the gorillas disguised in the vegetation is an exciting moment. See in your mind's eye coming less than 5 metres close to these primates. It won’t be easy but it definitely will be worth it.   Tracking in Bwindi requires vigor and can often take the whole day. So hiking shoes are relevant with packed lunch. If you have the energy, you will go for an afternoon guided village walk to see how Ugandans live. Dinner and overnight at your previous lodge. (FB)

Day four

Following breakfast, your safari guide will transfer you to Kayonza Airstrip to meet your private charter plane back to Entebbe Airport for your return flight back home.
